One of the best idle games I have played thus far. Continuous updates and work put in is obvious.
I hope to see guild/clan support in the future.
Easily one of the best idle browser MMOs out there. Has some active elements too like co-op dungeons ( Maybe group mining, fishing etc. too in the future ). Great community.
I had a really bad experience with a few of the mods. One of them cheated his way to the top and another muted me for talking to another player about a person who was mute evading and alt trading and the mods weren't doing a thing about it. The game is a really slow game but its market can be hard for new players. The game is alright but the mods really ruined my experience. There are 2 or 3 good mods on the server. The gameplay itself isn't very exciting and it is good for some people who like that sort of thing. The game lags a lot and i got rolled back every few days losing money and gear and hours of time. No mod or dev could help me. They don't respond to the feedback section of their webpage.
Idle games generally have fun hooks to bring you on into the game, and then slowly reveal more and more of them, little minigames to reward your attention with the main "idle" happening in the background. Others allow you to pivot between active and idle. This? Basic. Boring.
Idlescape is a browser game with strong idle aspects that takes inspiration from Runescape.
The game is intended for players who expect an idle experience. Very little micromanagement is required, and you can regularly leave the game open for hours without needing to interact with it. You also progress at full speed while offline for up to 12 hours.
Major features:
-10 trainable skills, each with unique mechanics and interactions with other skills
-Craft equipment to increase skilling and combat efficiency
-8 craftable jewelry items, each with a unique effect when equipped
-Beautiful and responsive interface
-Catch and cook fish, which heal you or grant XP boosts
-Woodcut for logs, and burn them for heat to power the smelting and cooking skills.
-Use fish oil obtained when cooking fish to craft pyre logs, which grant significantly more heat than regular logs when burned.
-Leaderboards for skills
-155 concurrent players (as of this comment)
-9 monster to fight in 4 zones
-140 items, most of which are tradable
